Why does an appendix surgery cost more or less than a knee surgery? The solution could be to set one price for all major surgeries for example, knee surgeries and organ transplants. It is pretty ridiculous for doctors to make a profit off of a surgery especially when they get paid for doing it later. The reason why insurance companies deny coverage to certain thins is because of the money so the best way is to make it affordable to the company.

A major problem with medical service today is the amount of time a doctor spends with his/her patient. How does a doctor make a thorough examination in less than five minutes? If insurance companies covered the use of holistic medicine than it is possible that malpractice could be minimized or even eliminated. It is understandable that doctors have many patients but it is still one life at a time. By covering holistic medicine insurance companies would probably even save money instead of paying chunks of money at a time. If a doctor spends more than enough time with a patient then he/she might be able to catch or prevent something before it gets worse. By preventing this problem than insurance companies will not have to pay so much money compared to how much they would pay if they condition was not caught in time.

There are many possible solutions to help ease the pain of paying for expensive surgeries, but the only way to do so is focus on the patient not by how much money is in his/her account but by how needed his/her surgery.
