Everywhere you look, computers have greatly improved our lives.

The Internet is a technique of communication and a resource of information that has become trendier among educated and those who like to just surf the information superhighway. Pornography degrades women and their role in society. Almost all pornographic material portrays images of women being beaten, tortured, raped, forced to perform acts of bestiality, and sexual slavery. The misunderstanding of "When a woman says no she really means yes," is communicated through pornography also. Recent raids by police agencies all across Canada and United states has uncovered very disturbing pictures related to pornography. These activities are turning out every where and it's going to reach an epidemic level by the turn of this decade if our government doesn't do anything about it. In order to save our children's innocence and Canada's moral values, pornography should be strictly regulated on the internet.

Internet as the mode of communication has increasingly attracted several users. Most people find it handy in communicating with friends and keeping in touch with relatives over long distance at lowest cost than before. Ever more than before, people have signed up for the internet service to download data and video materials. This in turn has attracted market for pornographic and hate materials to be distributed easily over the internet. It has also put a tool in the hands of the criminals.

The Internet is not currently owned by any country or corporation. It is a network of global computers interconnected through several server devices located in many countries. Though it appears to have sprung up overnight, in fact it was born in The United States Defense Department during early stages of the Cold War.

Computers are also playing an extremely important role in controlling cars. Most people don't realize how much of computer technology has been integrated into modern cars, until their cars breakdown. Just about everything in a modern cars are controlled by computer, a computer will read and recognize driving patterns and adjusts how and when the transmission should shift gear so that a driver will get maximum performance from their cars.
