A detailed Summary of Virginity


Since the time when I was able to understand "sex" in general, I've heard many elders say that it is a sin to have sex before marriage. But in my family, my parents never once told me not to have sex until I was married. In fact, in my eighteen years of existence, I never once talked about "sex" with my parents or other family members before. And I don't think that because of my lack of communication with my parents about sex, it has made me any different of a person from anyone else. People have different beliefs of sex in whether one should have sex or not have sex. It does not make one strange or odd if they do not have the same beliefs as others.

Sex never seemed like a horrible thing to me. I first learned of sexual intercourse in my Sex-Ed class in the sixth grade. I


With me having experienced sexual intercourse, it hasn't changed me as a person at all. It just gave me more knowledge of the opposite sex and it was an experience that I cherish and will never forget. Sexual intercourse should be shared with two people who are in love and that is just what happened between my girlfriend and I. I am not saying that it is wrong to have sex when you aren't in love with someone. It is just my opinion of sex.

But as I got older, I learned more about sex. I didn't enroll into another Sex-Ed class or anything. My knowledge of sexual intercourse grew through my conversation with friends, watching television, the internet, and others. And with me getting older, sex came into my thoughts more than before.
