That's when he looked me in the eyes and said, "What's wrong, you look like you have seen a ghost!" as he pulled out a nicotine filled, tar packed, cancer stick out what looked like to be a coat pocket.

By the bright flare of the match as he stopped to light his cigarette, I saw my unknown companion's strange yet familiar features and clothing.

Time out! One maybe wondering, what book does this come from, or where can I get this movie from. Well, its neither, book nor movie, it's reality. It's strange really, once I think about it I don't believe that all of this happened to me.

This was the scenario, I was hanging out, or taking care of business with one of my many clients. Her name was Candy, she was a beautiful model and actress, she was the hand that opened the can for the dog in a dog food commercial. I had known her ever since we were little and we were I guess one could call it catching up on old times. When I heard a silent yet odd knock at her door. Candy calmly rose up looked at me and said softly, "I will be right back. Don't you go anywhere."

When she went I could hear it delicately creep open, then all of a sudden I heard somebody yell, "Boo!"


So I went down town and told them everything that I could remember up until I looked into the unknown "John Doe". They let me go and told me to be careful and not to go and find myself in troubles way again. So respecting what I was just told by the officer I went home and tried to go to sleep, however I barely slept five minutes.

He was not moved in the slightest, so he just looked at me. So I told him, "We were in that little building and I threw my cigarette down. The next thing that I knew the building went up in flames. I couldn't bring myself to come to the funeral so I just didn't go. I never meant for this to happen!"

"Excuse me sir you're going to have to come with us!" stated a short stocky man in a police uniform.
