Animal Farm

Animal farm is said to be a fairy story an allegory, a parable and a surface story. The book can be interpreted in many different ways. If you were a 7or8 year old child, you would think of it as a fairy story but if you are, 14 as I am you would be looking deeper into the book and seeing the other meaning of the book. The representation of the Russian revolution. Orwell had great problems publishing his book this was mainly because when he was trying to publish the book Stalin was held in highest esteem in Britain among the populace and the general intelligentsia. This was a fact that Orwell hated. For this reason, the manuscript was almost impossible to publish. Stalin was a crucial wartime ally who was helping the way towards victory against Hitler, the very fact that the backbone of Orwell's book was accusations pointed at Stalin's betrayal of the Russian Revolution. Orwell did eventually publish his book in England on the 17 august 1945 and one year later in the United States.

Napoleon the leader of the revolution after old major died, works on two levels. The first being Napoleon Bonaparte a blood thirsty tyrant, a strong leader and someone the people looked up to. In addition, the second being Joseph Stalin.

Napoleon also lay down a new rule that when a pig and any other animal met on the path the other animal must stand aside also the pigs of whatever degree had the privilege of wearing a green ribbon on Sundays. The pigs also had a beer ration half a pint of beer daily and half a gallon for Napoleon.
