Elizabeth Tudor was born at Greenwich palace on September 7th in 1533 as the daughter of Henry VIII and his second wife Anne Boldeyn who was executed on may 19th when Elizabeth was only two years old. She had inherited intelligence, determination and shrewdness from both of her parents. She also spoke six languages fluently which showed that she was very well-educated. To become Queen the daughter of Henry VIII had to face some difficulties. Catholics doubted Elizabeth's claim to the throne because they saw Mary, who was the Queen of the Scots, as the true Queen of England. That's were the conflict between her and Elizabeth lay.
