In ethics, narrative theories propose principle or principles for distinguishing right actions from wrong actions. Two broad categories of ethical theories exist. These theories can for convenience be divided into consequential (teleological) principals or on non-consequential (deontological).
Consequential principles judge ethics of a particular action by the consequences of that action. Consequential Ethics, therefore determine the "rights" and the "wrongness" of any action by determining the ratio of good to evil that a given action whole produce.
