Is this how you see the play Romeo and Juliet?

The Microsoft Encarta 2001 Dictionary describes tragedy as, "a serious play with a tragic theme, often involving a heroic struggle and the downfall of the main character." The play Romeo and Juliet is one that illustrates tragedy in many scenes, such as, how Juliet was destined to marry someone else, when Romeo did not see the letter of a proposed duel from Tybalt; when Romeo did not receive the letter about Juliet's true state of health; and how Romeo and Juliet's love didn't change their families' hatred of each other until Romeo and Juliet were killed although even in the Baz Lurhmann film, after the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, the families still hated each other. And still, after all this the families are eyeing each other off with a view to getting their revenge.

A marriage had been arranged for Juliet, which she did not want to happen. Juliet maintained her relationship with Romeo even with the knowledge that her family would not accept Romeo as he was from the family with whom they had fought for years. On page 55, Act 2 Scene 2 line 40 to line 42, Juliet states,
