Being a team player in any environment is key and very beneficial to our youth as they mature. Many

of our youth will hold ten to twenty different jobs before they reach the age of 20, and most of them will be shortened because of the lack of teamwork skills the youth has or sheer boredom as a result of not being challenged. By being a part of the Youth Corps, they would typically organize young people into crews, with each crew working under the supervision of a trained adult leader. Each of them would be groomed to eventually hold a position of leadership and required to work together to complete different projects assigned.
