The American Revolution was a huge movement in our history that not only a huge political change, but also a difference in the economic and social changes of America at the time. Although there were negative sides politically, economically, and socially, the positive factors seemed to way out the negatives, which is seen in our past as young America was able to overcome these negative factors and become a powerful nation. Obviously, with the Revolution over, America was in need of a type of government to run their new country. At first, they adopted the Articles of Confederation, which they later decided would not allow their country to move forward in a positive direction. So political leaders got together and decided to and they later wrote up a Constitution. When the new Constitution was ratified, it brought about many new changes from the old Articles of Confederation, which brought a big difference in way the power was distributed throughout the nation.
