A detailed Summary of Hand Skills

Hands are the terminal part of the human body. We use hands for grasping and holding things. Human hands in primitive time were not developed as they are now. During that, time hands looked like claws, with long and sharp nails. Humans did not use the proper way of their hands. After the evolution of human, we have used our hands in every task. I have decided to use cricket as my hand skill. Cricket is a sport where people have to use his/her hand more often as other sport. It is one of the interesting sport to learn and I had to practice a lot to master it. In cricket, you have to use hands to hold a bat and to bowl a ball. I was raised in India and cricket was an important sport there. You will see kids playing cricket all over the town.

In the beginning, to me cricket seemed tough to learn. Since I was young, both the bat and ball were heavy at that time; I could not hold it the right way. In order to score runs we had to run from one end of the pitch to the other end, since the bat was so heavy, I had hard time running. In my early days of learning, it was fun fooling around with the bat and ball, but then I realize there is more to it then jus passing time. In 1994, I migrated to United States with my entire family. We all live in Jersey City with my other relatives. Here I have made friends here in school and college. Not all know how to play cricket but they still come whenever we play. We do not play as often as in India but we have fun during the time we play. I help who do not know much about cricket. I help them the way my coach prepared me, and assist them to advance.

Because of living near an open ground gave me more opportunity to practice. My father is a cricket fanatic. One of the reason I learned cricket was he. He does not play but loves watching it. He yells out in excitement when some player scores a four or a six and even when opposite team player gets out. On the other hand, I am the opposite. I like playing cricket. The thrill of bowling a ball and bating is different then sitting on your butt watching the match. Soon after, I joined coaching classes for cricket. There I learned tons of tricks and styles on how to bat and bowl properly. I joined the classes just to do some kind of activity in my vacation. Instead, of passing time I got more involved into it and received deeper knowledge.
