Who Moved My Cheese?

"Who Moved My Cheese?" tells a story of change, of how we react to it, and the terrible straits we can find ourselves in when we don't follow that change. The story is told in such simple terms, that one might think there is little value in the story. The story concerns four characters, two mice, and two "little people." The characters live in a maze chasing after cheese. The cheese is intended to be a symbol for anything we chase after in life that we believe will make us happy. The author describes the trials and tribulations we all have in life: joy, excitement, sorrow, greed, envy, stubbornness, fear, and the list goes on. As in life, the characters are never sure why the cheese is placed in the maze, nor the source of the cheese. When the characters are suddenly faced with change just like we are in life, some are ready and others are not. The book records one character's progress and eventual triumph and the lessons he learns along the way. In a section after the story four friends describe the impact that the story had on them and how they saw themselves and their actions in the context of the story.

The shortest book I have ever read, and how s

o few words could make such a huge impact on my life. It is not so much the huge impact as it would be to know that this impact could take affect in an hour and a half. After reading this book and doing a self-evaluation I learned a lot about myself and what it was that was actually making me feel unhappy at the time in my relationship with my boyfriend and to be more exact also the most extreme unhappiness was the affect that my job was having on me. After reading the book my feelings towards my relationship as well as work had "changed". What I discovered was that and I actually realized I wanted to be happier in my relationship as well as wanting a new job. I wanted change because what was making me unhappy was the fact that I didn't feel like I was in control and I felt like there was something missing from my relationship, but I realize now that I am in control of what I want for a job and there was nothing missing from my relationship, it was just changing and I did not know how to accept that change.

I've also used this change information and have applied it to my schedule that I have for my education. I've quit complaining about all the credits that I don't have after three years of school and have accepted and am happy for the ones that I do have. Realizing that part of the reason I don't have a lot of credits is my own fault and now this semester changing the ways I go about school to get more credits I have decided to bite the bullet and this is now why I have taken this online course, in hopes that this will help lead to me receiving twenty-one, no less then eighteen credits vs. the lousy twelve that I have been doing the past two years.

As for my job I am always wa
