Braveheart

1.) The movie "Braveheart" starts out as William Wallace ( Mel Gibson ) when he was a little boy. His father went away to try to make peace with England, instead he was trapped and hung. At his funeral, after everyone left and William stood by his father's grave a little girl picked a purple flower and gave it to him. Many years later, after William had grown up he went to a village in Ireland where he met one of his friends from his childhood. The king of England had told his nobles to capture women from Ireland and rape them. As William was at this village some England nobles came and took a woman from the village. I can say this because I don't feel I even have a life if I don't have the freedom to do, feel, and express what I feel in my heart is right. In the movie when William would not say he had had enough and that he would take his punishment he proved that his freedom was worth his life. This is the same way I feel about freedom.

came to war and felt the same deep love and compassion for freedom as William. He could also be funny and lightened parts in the movie. I loved how he proved his loyalty to William. They became great companions and saved each other in many ways.
