1.) The movie "Braveheart" starts out as William Wallace ( Mel Gibson ) when he was a little boy. His father went away to try to make peace with England, instead he was trapped and hung. At his funeral, after everyone left and William stood by his father's grave a little girl picked a purple flower and gave it to him. Many years later, after William had grown up he went to a village in Ireland where he met one of his friends from his childhood. The king of England had told his nobles to capture women from Ireland and rape them. As William was at this village some England nobles came and took a woman from the village. William then caught a glance of a woman who he could not take his eyes off. They later met each other and fell in love. It turned out she was the little girl that had gave him the flower when his father died. He knew this before she did, but when he gave her the dried flower wrapped up in a cloth, she realized it. They got married secretly and the next day more England nobles were at the village. One of them captured his wife and William came and rescued her. He put her on a horse and told her to go to a place in the woods where he would meet her. She took off as he fought the English, and tried to get a
3.) I feel the movie was called "Braveheart" because the lead character, William Wallace, had a very brave heart. No matter what happened he stood up for what he believed in. The way he felt about freedom in his heart never faded or gave up. He was willing to give up his life and go through many trials tribulations to get the freedom he wanted for his country.

I can say this because I don't feel I even have a life if I don't have the freedom to do, feel, and express what I feel in my heart is right. In the movie when William would not say he had had enough and that he would take his punishment he proved that his freedom was worth his life. This is the same way I feel about freedom.
came to war and felt the same deep love and compassion for freedom as William. He could also be funny and lightened parts in the movie. I loved how he proved his loyalty to William. They became great companions and saved each other in many ways.
