The Kosovo refugees and the Dust Bowl refugees are very similar in their experiences, and also very different. They both were given a time limit until they would be bodily removed from their homes. They were forced into camps that were dirty and unkempt, they never got enough nourishment, or clean water.

The Kosovo refugees were given fifteen minutes to leave their homes, and Dust Bowl refugees were given a certain number of days. The Kosovo refugees were aloud to take as much as they could carry, and Dust Bowl refugees
