A detailed Summary of Macbeth


Some people will do anything to get what they want. William Shakespeare wrote a great drama, Macbeth. Set in the 1600's, about a man who is full of ambition. Ambition causes Macbeth to change. He is a tragic hero in the play. Macbeth is a dynamic character because he is a fearless solder in the beginning that becomes greedy and weak.

In the opening scene of the play, Macbeth is a fearless solder. He leads his army to defeat the Thane of Cawdor. According to the captain it was "brave Macbeth disdaining fortune, with his brandished steel", witch brought down the Thane of Chowder
