The Berlin to Hamburg Express
The Berlin to Hamburg Express, Nazi Germany, 1935 My husband and I live in a very warm, two-story house that is just outside of Warsaw. We have both worked very hard to be able to afford this house, with our farming jobs. Henryk and I have now been married for 10 years. We married when I was 17 years old, and Henryk was 20. We are very happy together, and we have lately been attempting to have our very first child, since things with farming have been going very well, we can now afford to raise him/her. My husband and I, have many workers that help out with maintaining our Rye farm, so at this point and time, we can afford to travel quite frequently to Warsaw. While there, we dine with many friends that we have both had since before our marriage, and also the friends that we have made together since our marriage. We enjoy spending time with many of the other farming families that reside in our district. We both are heavy readers, who enjoy it very much, and we also enjoy traveling and seeing the countryside. We learn some very useful things sometimes with the use of our travel. My husband and I, Henryk, have both been born into families that are 100% polish, making the
My husband and I had both packed our luggage the day before our train station arrival, to make for better use of our time. My husband arranged a team of people to work on our farm while we would be absent, while I freshened up for the train ride. We then were driven to the train station at Warsaw, for a 9:00am departure. We then arrived at Berlin, to be able to board the Berlin - Hamburg express later that day. Our first train departure was very peaceful and relaxing. I had time to read and gaze at all of the scenery. My husband and I had lots of time to be able to relax, and talk to each other. We had arrived in Berlin at 7:00 pm, where we then walked to a close by restaurant, where we enjoyed a light supper before our departure onto our next train. For both my husband and I, our families are of top value. Currently, the most important person in both of our lives, is each other, (Henryk and I). My husband takes our succession very seriously, for he feels it is very important to be able to support a family that relies on you. I feel that I am just as determined as my husband is. We are both extremely hard workers, and have taken great pains to finally achieve everything that we have made, since we began as farmers. I am very fast learner, and I am capable to handle the things in life that might sometimes be of risk to our farming/family.
