The Statue was a present from France in 1884. It is now located in New York City, New York. It was presented in 1884, but didn't arrive until early 1885. It is on Liberty Island that is formally known as Bedloe's Island.

It took awhile to ship it and put it together since the she is so big. Her total height is 151 feet and 1 inch from base to torch. Her foundation is 306 feet and 8 inches from the torch
