"The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a Heaven of Hell, a Hell of Heaven." In Paradise Lost this statement is quoted by look up the name. In this quotation it describes Heaven and Hell as states of the mind. An individual's life and feelings are what he makes of them. A person has the capability of taking actions to create or destroy his own happiness within his mind. A person's life is like a game of cards. If the quotation is applies to everyday human life on earth it is very true. Everything is in the eyes of the beholder. In harsh reality there are both a Heaven and a Hell.
