A detailed Summary of Unfolding as he Should
Andrew is a, finally, content six year old. His introduction to school, junior kindergarten, wasn't an enjoyable or enriching experiencing and senior kindergarten wasn't much better. Andrew is a socialite who loves to talk and laugh and because of this was labeled a trouble maker throughout kindergarten and treated with indifference by his teacher. Getting him to school each day was a struggle for his single mother, as he feared another day of being singled out and scolded by his teacher. Finally, in Grade 1, he is happy. He has an understanding teacher, nice friends and is excelling at the new challenges Grade 1 has to offer.
Andrew's parents separated when he was just two years old. He doesn't remember that they ever lived together, but often expresses a wish that they would, so that he could be with them both all the time. This does at times cause a struggle when he has to leave one parent to visit with the other. He lives with his mother full time and visits his dad every other weekend. However, this arr

His current aspirations are to be an inventor or either a professional hockey or soccer player. He definitely has the curiosity, imagination and creativity to be an inventor; however he has yet to master any sport or even become involved in a sport. His parents have tried to put him in skating but Andrew doesn't have the patience to stick with things that he isn't immediately good at. This brings us to Andrew's greatest fault, impatience. He gets extremely frustrated when he can't do something, even when encouraged to continue trying. When he gets into this state, he calls himself stupid, pouts and absolutely refuses any empathy or sympathy. Andrew has high expectations of himself already, probably stemming from his parents who tend to forget that he's "just a kid", a statement he commonly makes when he's spilled or broken something.
All in all, Andrew is developing as he should. He will continue loving and being loved by his parents and they will continue to encourage his creativity and imagination. Hopefully
