Why I Love My Enemies

A detailed Summary of Why I Love My Enemies

Since my first step into the so-called "Real World" I have been outcast into my own category. This same category I have been shunned to has been my set back in many cases. The majority of my life I have been prosecuted against due to my race. To me race should not play a role in any person's life as either their adversary or benefactor. Racism, racial discrimination, can only lead a person one way and that way is into a problem. So many problems may arise from racial actions or comments that could spark off multiple repercussions, which could lead a person to getting emotionally hurt, physically hurt, or even prosecuted and sent to jail. An example of some repercussions happened to me very recently. A few weeks back I found a good friend and myself at the mall getting our suites for a school event. We were on our way to get our suites when we saw a young Hispanic female at her sales cart sitting down looking down and out. My friend proceeds to go to her and tell her to cheer up. After my friend goes over there, I take a closer look at her and tell her that she looks familiar and ask her have I seen her somewhere before. With attitude and digression she replies, "No you don't know me!" In shock and amazement I inquire if she is hav

So me being the kind and considerate person I am approach this young lady, place my hand on her should slightly and tap her saying calmly, " It is going to be ok." While I was walking away with my friend the lady replies dynamically, "Don't touch me!" Thinking no more about the situation my friend and I go on to pick up our suites for our school event. Leaving the store holding suites, food, and laughter in our spirits we notice four mall security officers standing at the exit to the mall. Disregarding the officers we continue on our journey out the mall, when we here someone shout, "You two stop and come here!" We stop and turn around to see who is saying that and to whom they are speaking. To our surprise it was one of the officers speaking to us. We stop and the officers advance towards us stating that the young lady back there accuses us of harassing her, that we harassed her, we assaulted her, and she wants to press charges against us. I was au-struck and just caught off guard. The officers continued with saying we will get banned from the mall that we worked at for months and have been going to for years, and be ticketed for a class C misdemeanor, with a possible fine ranging from $150-$275 depending on the judge. To me at first I was getting all of this for trying to br
