Team Captains have a lot more responsibilities than most people realize. For the most part, they are not simply people that are the best players on the team. In fact, that's not the case at all. A captain is a fellow teammate that takes control at all times. He is the player that leads the team to victory. He always shouts out commands, makes sure the team is trying their hardest, and he gets the team pumped up and ready to play the game. Without a captain on the team, the team would not be complete. The team without the captains would look like there is something obviously missing.
Being a captain at practice or at a game has a lot of responsibilities. The captain has to always hold his composure. Even if he is having a bad day, he always must encour
age the team and keep them in a positive mood. The team follows the captain. If the captain is dragging through practice, then the teammates will feel that they can too. Attitude is everything when being a captain.

Tony and I are the fortunate individuals who were chosen this year to be the captains for our Nease soccer team. Our whole team voted on who would be the best captains for this soccer season.
