Martin Luther King

Martin Luther King was a Baptist minister and civil rights leader. He was born January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Ga, the son of Martin Luther King. At only five years old he could recite biblical passages and sing hymns from memory. His parents raised him with self-esteem and to be non-prejudice. Martin grew up in segregated Atlanta and being black, he felt the full range of racial discrimination.
