Forgiveness is always needed no matter how hard it is to forgive. There are times in every ones life when someone does something that they need to be forgiven for. Some are much harder to forgive than others, but all sins deserve forgiveness.

My father had a serous tragedy happen to his family when he was a teenager. My fathers brother, Andy was killed in a drunk driving accident when he was 18. Andy was driving home from work and a drunk driver crashed into the driver side of his car. Causing his car to swerve into on coming traffic. This accident left 2 dead and a few injured. The drunk driver was injured, he remained in the hospital until he could appear in court.

One day his father convinced him to go to church. While he was their he felt comfort, something he hadn't felt in a long time. He said a prayer for his brother, hoping he was in heaven and not in pain anymore. After he said the prayer he felt as if his brother was their with him telling him no to be so angry.

My father missed Andy very much, but he realized that Andy was happy. He then forgave God and the drunk driver. Every time my father goes to church he feels the love and comfort of his brother.

It must have been very hard for my father and his parents to forgive the drunk driver. They had to realize that it was an accident. This man made a mistake, and was sorry for what he had done.
