Margaret is in a way dissimatting the idea that there should be a distinct difference between the classes, and particularly between the three families involved in this story. Each person started off with their own close-mindedness on what they believed, but later came to realize that no matter what class one belongs to, the person must be given a chance to redeem themselves.
