The main character of this story is the mum, who is very embarrassing and strict to her children. However she is very kind to her friends, relations and neighbours.
In the story, we can see Mum is a shameful, cruel and strict mum. If the children didn¯t get up when they were told, Mum would drag them out and pull down their pyjama pan
