Why Home School is the Solution
In today's world many parents are considering home schooling their children. Currently there are more than one million young people being educated at home today. This trend stems from parental concerns about violence, peer pressure, teacher/student ratio, and the fear that children are intellectually short-changed by poor teaching. Home school is a viable alternative for parents seeking adequate education and a safe environment for children. A new breed of home schoolers is emerging. The most vocal and organized home schoolers tend to be religiously motivated, and are most are often conservative Christians. Home school provides children with above-average education. On average, test scores for home schooled children are 30 to 37 percent higher than those for other students. Home schooled children have the advantage of being taught on a one-on-one basis, which deepens their learning experience. This allows children to excel to their highest potential, without being held back due to other children's shortcomings. One-on-one teaching also helps children focus on subjects they struggle with. It allows children to learn at their own pace and keeps distractions at a minimum.
