The Girl Who Owned a City

What if, something so terrible swept over the earth and wiped out all of the grownups? How far would you go to survive? Some might choose theft, while others worked to earn what they deserved. In the book 'The Girl Who Owned a City,' a ten-year-old girl named Lisa strived to survive in this kind of world. In it, she found friends to help her along the way, and foes that threatened her with life and death.

The characters in this story were at times unrealistic. Take Lisa for example, she thinks of everything, like Glenbard, and the militia. But where does she get her energy to think? She never sleeps, and always works. Also, look at Craig and Jill. Jill also barely sleeps, and
