Cloning vs Frankenstien
In this day and age Cloning is a large topic. This topic entails many moral and ethical issues. Cloning research is being done across the world and has been preformed many times with animals and humans. Why is cloning such a touchy topic? Is it because are people afraid of a modern day Frankenstein? Or are they afraid of God's revenge? Are the people of the earth messing with creation or are they really helping the world? Personally, I believe that cloning should be banned, every thing happens for a reason. Cloning has already been proven to be dangerous in the scientific sense. The problem is that even if cloning is outlawed in the counties that are currently doing this research that over 170 nations in the world have yet to outlaw human cloning research.Cloning is the process of recreating an identical copy of person or animal. This can be done through several complex processes. Two of the most popular are stem cell research and embryonic cell research. Stem cells can be taken from a living source at any given age and there are several types. An embryonic cell comes from an embryo. It is not only the science issues with cloning but also the morals and ethics. Ever thing happens for a reason. There is a reason why that person died and a reason why you cannot bring them back to life. But recent events have had several companies contacted to clone their deceased child or partner. Even if you clone someone you are only making that person biologically identical. They're thinking, social and moral attitudes, and beliefs will differ. Only society dictates ones morals and ethics. For example even if you clone your wife there is no guarantee that this person when she grows old enough that she will love you or even if she will be like that person. As far a child goes even if were to successfully clone him or her will this person be the same or is it worth the risk of them being deformed. How will the cloned person feel when they find out they have been cloned? Will they go mad like Mary Shelly's Frankenstein does? Will they have severe depression or commit suicide? These are not the only questions to be asked because even today we cannot make an adult clone just appear. If you are an adult and you have a female clone will you be granted parental rights or will she be considered your identical twin sister? So will people make clones to have a spare person around? Well I hope that the world doesn't come to this but I am afraid that it might if the cloning industry keeps up with people supplying large amounts of money to have a clone. "The baby born has been born into a
