Dwight D. Eisenhower, a small town boy who grew up to the be the five-star general of the United States military force and the 34th president was an accomplished man. He was born on October 14, 1890 in Denison, Texas. He died in Walter Reed Army Hospital on March 28, 1969 from a heart attack. Eisenhower was one of 7 kids in his family. He was an average student in school. After he graduated from high school, he received an invitation to attend West Point, a military school. When he was finished with his military education, he
