Friedrich by Hans Peter Richter

Friedrich by Hans Peter Richter tells a story, during a period of time were there was a lot of Anti, - Semitism. It also tells of character named Friedrich jugged by the race and religion.

Friedrich covers 6 main themes, which are important to the story.

I think Hans Peter Richter is trying to get over that prejudice and Racism, are the main themes of the story. The narrator clearly and importantly explains that he wants to get over that prejudice and racism, were a serious matter during Hitler's time, this is shown when Frau Schneider a Jewish man is forced to retire at thirty two.

Fear is also treated as a serious matter and episode the writer shows this particularly well in the story:

'Friedrich' shows a lot of Loyalty between both the narrators and Friedrich. I think it took great courage for the narrator to be friends with Friedrich; this was because during Hitler's time no one was allowed to be friends with Jewish people or they would be punishment.

'You don't think you have to protect this rotten Jew boy'. I think the narrator would be a good friend to have because he is loyal and sticks by you at all times.
