What do you think of when you hear the word 'hero'? Do you think of firefighters or police officers? Superheroes and parents make great ones too. However, when I asked myself this question one name popped into my eighth grade mind, Pete. Pete is a good friend of mine, and he has been for a while now. You may be thinking to yourself, how in the heck can Pete be a hero? Well, let me explain how he is a hero to me.

Firstly, Pete is my hero because of his personality. Unlike most of these childish eighth grade boys, Pete is easy to talk to. Have you ever had a question
