A detailed Summary of Griffin


As I was reading through Griffin's essay, I came across the italicized excerpts about the V-1 rocket. I read about them and then it made me stop and think of how it fed into the essay and about people today. I did some research about the rocket and came across some interesting facts. There was no navigation system, so it was simply pointed in the direction of its target. Only 25% of the V1s hit their target and eight out of ten of the missiles will land within eight miles of their targets. The weapon did limited damage to England as it was vulnerable to fighter aircraft, and many were also shot down by antiaircraft fire. This made me stop and thing how Griffin was fit
