The book starts out on a football field and this quarter back is getting ready to throw the winning touchdown pass and he sees a hallucination but he does not realize that it is a hallucination. And he starts to just spasm and he loses all control and he goes insane. The students relate the incident to some witches in the school because the guy went insane screaming about the school's legendary ghost.

The same insane incident happens to other athletic students at the school so the principle and other authorities call in a group of investigators to try and solve this mystery. They believed that all this was happening from someone that had been picked others

they were just getting revenge. The family consist of Nate, the father, Sarah, the mother, Elijah and Elisha, the son and daughter. So the kids enrolled into the school to try and get the inside scoop about the students that were victims of the sickness that was thought to be a curse by majority of the students. And Nate was somewhat hired as a janitor so he could watch and look around the school and observe was being picked on by others and try to figure out who was behind this whole thing. And Sarah was the person who sat out in their mobile crime lab, which was in a motor home where they analyzed evidence and facts that they gathered throughout the day.
