Discrimination

Premise: The September 11 attacks, have not led to unnecessary discrimination

SS1: The US seeks to decrease the percentage of illegal aliens.

SSII: The US is looking for people who will contribute to the national economy.

SSIII: The US seeks to tighten its security.

Discrimination is defined as treatment or consideration based on class or category rather than individual merit; partiality or prejudice. People Who seek mislead, baffle, and to confuse others into believing of what they think is right use a lot of loaded terminologies that are designed to disguise any facts on a particular issue. This is especially true in very controversial topics, such as the infamous September 11 Terrorist Attacks. The September 11 attacks took hundreds of lives, and caused irreparable damage to the lives of thousands. Can we really blame the US for the extreme measures that they've taken? Do we really understand what they felt? No. after the attacks and after the US retaliation against terrorism, a lot of people who did not fully comprehend the issue quickly jumped to the conclusion that the US is treating other nations, especially those of Arab countries, unjustly and unfairly by suspecting those nations of being terrorist. This is not

It has been argued that the US role to remove the Taliban from power in Afghanistan was only a way to get Afghanistan to convert into democracy. This is another false accusation to sway people's minds. it is clearly visible that the US was there to gain information on the whereabouts of the elusive Osama Bin Laden, who was the alleged mastermind behind the bombings of American embassies in numerous Arab countries. Also, if we look closely to the Afghans' lives before the US troops came, we will see that people were robbed of their humanity, women were deprived of education, leisure and amusement were foregone. People only existed to serve the likings of the Taliban. With the help of the US, the afghan were given their healthy and prosperous lives once more. The US has nothing to gain and everything to lose in that situation. Namely when they decided to raid Afghanistan they had to consider not been attacked in return by other nations (those who support the Taliban), the raid could also result in American casualties of war, who in turn have their own families back in the US. Another is that the US might have lost their good public image and be accused of being a bully. The raid was also economically draining, speaking of weapons training, equipment development and of course the deployment of troops. Those troops who were deployed have families of their own, how sure are we that they wanted to go to war blindly, without knowing why anyone would want to destroy everything the US stood for. To fight for the very same people that thought of them of being "conquerors" or "bullies".

First of all, the US government intends to decrease the number of illegal aliens in the country. America has always been called "The Land of Opportunity", and because of this hundreds of people from different countries have dreamed of setting foot in America and living there. As honorable as their Intentions may be, it is still under the law that one cannot simply march to America's gates and demand to be let in. It doesn't work like that in the real world. Because people desperately want good lives, they are willing to do everything they can to achieve that, even if it means breaking the law. The American government does not have anything against these would-be aliens; the government just wants the best for its country and its people. Just because that the American government does not provide haven for them does not mean they are discriminating the other nat
