Gertrude Stein Tender Buttons

In the novel "Tender Buttons," Gertrude Stein plays with language using her unconventional writing style. It appears that Gertrude is using words in an abstract way as she express her voice through fragmented language. In my opinion, she uses very short and simple descriptions in explaining certain objects, food and rooms. everal examples of Stein's works in an attempt to show correlation of the short stories (subtitles) in her novel.

In conclusion it is clear to me that "Tender Buttons" is a unfolding of Gertrude Stein observations in life. She brings simple language to life using the description of objects, f
