Sunday worship for Christians usually consists of reading of scriptures, hymns and psalms and at times communion. Throughout the Sunday worship there may be several sacraments ["a sacred ritual through which God's saving power comes to believers" (Ludwig, 2001, p.171)], which may occur. Some of these include baptism, ordination of clergy, rite of marriage, confirmation, confession and forgiveness, and the receiving of the holy Eucharist (Ludwig, 2001). Typically the service ends with the minister blessing the congregation. As aforementioned, due to differences among Christian denominations, there may be small variances in the Sunday Service.
