She really expressed herself with the truth and defended her beliefs when John taught her. She rebelled and broke the tradition with her courage that no other ancestor would break. Later, she chose whom she really loved or the one who gave her love. Even though John Brown gave her so much; he understood that he wasn't the man of her dreams. John gave her something that helped her throughout her life; which is the voice to speak her feelings, which later brought her together with Perdro.
