People today are very skeptical and are even very opinionated about the public performances of the stars today and even the stars of the past. The performances that the stars of radio, screen, television, and stage conduct have an impact on the audience that is sometimes subtle while other times it is very noticeable. Many performers come off to "open" as if they are exploiting themselves especially sexually, intern this causes people to criticize the stars.

Television is now more than ever taking more steps toward more sexuality and even vulgarity. Besides that they also depict the old-fashioned thought of the man working while his wife stays home with the kids and takes care of the household duties. He feels as if he does not have to do anything around the house or with the kids when he comes home and sometimes accuses his wife by saying what she does around the house is not work. The Internet is something where you can find anything you need. There are many different websites where you can go and find information to a research project or just for a definition. Besides all of this information there are also many other Internet sights that contain things such as sex and pornography. They have websites were you can buy pictures of naked people, or you can just download them to look at. This becomes a huge concern for parents because if they cannot block that site their children can just go onto any website and look at anything.

All these things lead to censorships. Should we be able to censor things? Do people have the right to censor things? Music videos are censored to an extent only because some things cannot be shown on television. Internet sites should definitely be censored because they sites are getting into the wrong hands like the hand of little children. Movies are ok because they have to be censored they go right to the limit but they do not go past it. Private channels often go past the limit but they are at night when young children should not be up watching television anyway, but they still could be censored to a certain extent. Daytime television needs to be censored a lot more than what it is right now, the language and sexual conduct is out of control and is not something that should be shown when young children can watch it.

For example, there is much talk about the singer Christina Agullera. Most of her fans are little girls and they want to dress and act like her. Many parents have a problem with this because they do not want their children to wear the skimpy sexy clothes that this singer is wearing. Because of this many singers and actors begin to question themselves about if they should change their image. Some say yes, but why if you got it flaunt it others say. Young girls are also becoming sick with eating disorders because they want to be skinny and beautiful like their favorite singers.
