Jack and Rose in The Titanic are two young lovers who experience conflict in their relationship because their families are in very different social classes. Similarly, In William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, the two young lovers are from two feuding families. There are three main ideas that demonstrate the central theme of Romeo and Juliet, which is; love can make enemies forget their differences. Romeo forgets his disparities with Juliet's family, Juliet overlooks her differences with the Montagues, and Capulet and Montague disregard their long-standing dispute and unite the two families in the end.
