Love has been an inspiration to many lovers, that is why "La Traviata" and "Moulin Rouge" had been created as an example of love that will live forever . "La Traviata" takes place in Paris in the palace of Violetta Valery, who is the girlfriend of Baron Douphol. She meets her secret lover Alfred Germot who confesses his love to her. Impressed and being in love for the first time in her life, she gives him a camellia and promises to meet him again when the flower is withered. The two protagonists have secretly moved to a villa in Versailles near Paris and are living there in loneliness. One day, when Alfredo has gone to Paris, his father visits Violetta and urges her to leave Alfredo. On the other hand, the two movies have some difference. "Moulin Rouge" presents the story as a comedy, but "La Traviata" is serious and sophisticated. Another divergence is the scenario, in the first movie they present a modern Paris with a lot of lights, but in the other one they used an antique setting. An additional difference in both of the movies is that the most important actions took place in a distinct area. One was in the theater and the other in the courtesan's house. The last detail that separates the two versions is the person who told both of the protagonists to break up with their lovers.
