You wake up early for work and kiss your family goodbye. During your daily routine, you see a man drop a glass vial in the subway; or you open a pile of mail at the office and a white powdery substance falls out of a letter. You have just become a statistic of bioterrorism.

One form of bioterrorism, anthrax, has been a debated subject for many years. Recently, we found out how dangerous this disease can be. This paper will state the history of anthrax, give the opinion of Dr. Gary Novak before the September 11 attacks, state factual information and recent developments with anthrax, and tell how to protect yourself from anthrax.
