A Day in The Life of Auggie
Buzz, buzz, buzz, boy I wish he would turn that alarm off, it's just so not a pleasant way to wake up. My master does some silly things. Well I do have to go to the bathroom, so I should get up. I can't wait to see what other animals entered my yard last night as I slept. Sniff, sniff... Seems as if the rabbits were around again, let me follow their trail, boy would I like to catch one of them. Hey that's my neck you're pulling on. Every time I get hot on the trail this guy wants to mess it all up. Every day I catch the same scent trail and every day this guy is pulling my neck off. You think he would learn after three and a half years that I want to take off through the woods and catch those rabbits. They call him the master, I love him, but between us he's not too bright. Anyhow, now that I have gotten the morning business taken care of. It's time for breakfast, umm, umm, good. What will he be serving me on this fine morning? Wellness Healthy Dog Treats, again. Don't get me wrong I like them, but ever since he discovered my allergies it's been the same food every day. I may feel better, but I do long for the variety of the old way of eating, everything he serves now is routine. In addition to that now I only get four or five
Is that the door, yes, he's back. That means it's almost time for dinner. Dinner would be the bulldog's favorite time of the day. Hello, hello, I cry out. We then exchange a few kisses, then time for a trip outside. Let's see who has been around the yard. Smells like that poodle from down the street has been messing in my yard again, I'll get him back just wait until I go on my walk buddy. Hey there is John, he lives next door, hello, hello, hello John. He waves, he seems like a great guy, but I keep an eye on him. You know he has a cat. You can't trust those cat people. Hey let's go on in so we can start dinner. Bulldogs love dinner. I think I already mentioned that, but dinner is worth mentioning more than once. I bet I know what I am having super allergy free dog food, boy I long for the days of steak and chicken. One thing about my master I don't like is Gee the whole house to myself no one but me. When I was younger this would mean party time. Now that I am older I understand that removing all the pillows from the beds and cushions from the couches is only funny the first time you do it. I' m a bit sleepy anyway, this seems like a good time to take a nap. Now being the little princess that I am, I can't be expected to sleep on the floor or even just on the bed. No, I work hard at pleasing my master, so I deserve a nest of six pillows. Where are they, ok here they are. My master is a slow learner. Every day I arrange these pillows just right and every day he messes them up. I have faith in him though, one day he'll figure it out. I only have a good three to four hours before he comes home to let me out in to the yard, so I better get napping. With dinner complete it's time for a trip outdoors. What pleasure should I chose tonight? He did promise me ball, but that poodle messed in my yard. Decisions, decisions do we play some ball or go looking for revenge? I think I will take the high road, I can get the poodle back anot
