The roles of women and the attitudes towards women have had changed a great deal in the Post World War Two period of Australia. These changes were influenced by various aspects of society, for example: The Media, the increase of household technology, increase of everyday free time and the International Women's Day Organization as well as organization like so. These communities and leisure times affected the women of the time both negatively and positively and in the end, these factors helped win women freedom.

Firstly, the Media had played both the part of the antagonist and the supporter of the freedom of women in the Post World War Two period of Australia. The main that had influenced the women of the time especially were magazines, newspapers and the world famous Hollywood. Just after the Second World War, these sources supported the 'anti-feminism-liberation' and tried convince women to be the ideal ladies by telling them that it is the fashion for women to focus their attention in making themselves beautiful and as well as pleasing the men of the households by doing more housework. Ms Wu, who had experienced this first handed, expressed her opp


osition to such by mailing to a magazine that she had read at the time and informed it that women should not work like slaves for men. Of course, this was not published.

In conclusion, the roles and attitudes of women were changed in the Post World War Period of Australia were due to many factors, these included, the Media; which helped and disagreed with the women's freedom. The increase of household technology; which saved women time and labour. Freedom and time for leisure and the International Women's Day Organization and organizations like so.
