The majority of them try the drug because of curiosity. Some people believe that marijuana improves their talents and capabilities, and even give them new understanding about life. Many users who try marijuana use it only a few times or infrequently. However, others develop a strong desire for it's effects and become regular users. Should marijuana be legal in Canada? This is a tough question to answer, because you have to look at the pros and the cons of the legalization of marijuana. The good effects that it could have on Canada are the quality ratings. At least people will feel safer buying from a clean place, instead of going around to the metro and finding it from some random person that you don't trust. It will make a lot of gangs poorer, and fewer dealers, which can be a very good thing since there is so much money being made in the underground market. The government can make more money on the taxes. Better research can be undertaken to discover all the effects of the drug. A negative aspect of legalizing marijuana would be that it would disappoint the U.S. since they are completely against the idea of legalizing this drug.
