As the story progresses, the brothers become serious in their righteous mission. They decide to use the money and guns they found on the Russians to purchase the tools they will need for their new profession. After gearing up, the boys decide to go for the head of the Russian mob. They discover that there is to be a meeting of the main players in the mob and they are eager to take advantage of this opportunity. They literally fall into a room filled with Russian high mobsters and go to work as the scene goes once again into a slow-motion action scene. Brent Simon of Entertainment Today enjoys these scenes and says, "These segments - a refreshing break from the mindless emptying of semi-automatic weapons - are interesting if not exactly well-done." The miraculous success of this mission shows that they are loyal and will look out for each other, no matter what the consequence. This sense of loyalty comes from their strong religious upbringing and creates a bond between the brothers. We see through the action displayed in the scene that the brothers can overcome any adversary that crosses their path. This scene also helps to develop another main character by the name of Rocco (David Della Rocco). He is an errand boy for the Italian mob who is known to them as the "funny man." Rocco knows many of the mafia and other inside information, and he wants revenge on his bosses. After he is set up by the mob to be killed while he is doing a hit for them (the hit that the brothers pulled themselves!) he goes into "business" with the brothers and helps them in their mission from God. Roc realizes that the mob does not care about him and decides to take control of his situation. The development of Roc from a package boy to a vengeful former employee is revealed through this scene. It shows how a person can instantly change one's outlook and opinions through one intense moment or event.
