Narration

Approximately six months ago I noticed a lump on my left hand. At first I was nervous because I've never had anything like this on my body before. But after talking with some friends and relatives, the general consensus was that I had some sort of cyst. I decided to take no action against the cyst, but instead wait it out and see if it went away on its own. On Monday past, I went to see Dr. K for a follow-up visit. He inspected my hand and removed my stitches. There is only a little pain now, a little pain and a one inch scar to remind me of my cyst.

Twelve days ago, operation day. I arrive at the hospital in Shakopee at 3:30pm, an hour before my scheduled time to go "under the knife". After filling out some initial pap
