Hero

Hero. The word says it all. That word alone makes me think of sporting figures, presidents, leaders of revolutions, and leaders of strikes and protests, etc. In my eyes a hero can only be diffident as a leader, whether voted into or just assumed to be. A person can be a leader of himself. They do not have to have a mass group behind them, if anything, not having a group behind them makes that person more of a hero, due to the simple fact that it is that person against the society of today.

There are a few qualities all heroes should possess, these include, but not exclude, a willingness to do what is right, an action or a set of actions that are to be admired, and the ability not to care what other people think. In my opinion anyone without these three qualities may be admired but should not actually be considered a "hero". A hero must know right from wrong, and they must be able to use that to their advantage. They must have some sense of morality. Any person whom is consid


When it all boils down, you can learn a lot about a nation from its heroes. You can find out how they act, react and adjust to situations around them. You can learn about how a person's history may affect the way he or she acts. You can even find out what sort of morals a nation imposes on to its citizens just by looking at those nation heroes.

I would have to agree on his choice of people. They were doing a lot in order to help Alex out. Under that circumstance, if Alex had come up to me then I probably would have told him to go and find his own way out, and to keep me out of it. I more likely then not, would not have been able to think about anything other then to get myself out of the picture. Alex's opinion on a hero is probably the same exact opinion as mine. I personally think that Alex's heroes were the same people that I would have as my heroes in that incident.
