Memorandum
The purpose of this memo is to convey my research proposal to fulfill my Middler Year Writing Requirement. This memo will explain how the Hybrid Intercooler works, why it should be used on vehicles today, and the future goals of the project. Also included will be an explanation of who the audience is and why they are the ones chosen for this report to be sent to.The world of engineering today is constantly searching for new products to increase the efficiency of vehicles. Over the next few years we will see an incredible growth in products such as fuel cells and changes in aerodynamics to help raise the efficiency and performance of vehicles. For these reasons I began to study where there are current systems on vehicles that can be modified to increase performance. Through a detailed study I have found that there can be incredible horsepower and efficiency increases by modifying the method that intake chamber air is cooled and used for combustion. The problem with proposing a new system to modify intake air is that air to air intercoolers, or nitrous oxide systems and other similar performance products have already been made and nearly perfected.
