The Art of time management
I can snap back to one of those relaxing moments and remember staring the clock as it proceeds unhurriedly with a tranquilizing "Tic Toc" sound. Those are instances when time is ever the most abundant thing. There would hardly be a misconception if I were to pronounce myself a "Champion of all TIME". There is no mystery about managing time. Everyone has 24 hours each day and 168 hours each week to eat, sleep, work, relax, exercise, attend class, and study. There is nothing magical about getting the most of these hours; it just takes planning. But time management does require self-discipline and control until the behavioral changes are internalized and time management becomes an everyday habit. Plans and schedule for managing time are useless if one does not follow them. Here is why I call myself the master of the time: for most of the time, I just fly through the time as if I was riding on it. I control time with one of my fists and work with the other. This is why I always have enough time to successfully complete all of my assignments and also have extra time for leisure. There are steps to follow for being the master of time. As Tolkien puts it in his novel, Lord of the Rings: The fellowship of the Ring, "Time does not determine who you are, you have to decide what you want to do with the time that is given to us." It is very critical for being successful that we set our goals. Goal setting is a formal process for personal planning. By setting goals on a routine basis you decide what you want to achieve, and then step-by-step move towards achievements of these goals. The process of setting goals and targets allow to choose where you want to go in life. Goal setting is a standard techni
