Abortion
Over the years one of the biggest conflicts have been concerning abortion. There are many questions people take into consideration when deciding what to believe. Is it a fetus or, a blob of tissue? Does the mother have the right to decide, since it is her body? What about rape, is it okay if it is rape? What if they cannot afford a baby, and should not we take into consideration how it is going to change people lives? Also if it is such a terrible thing why is it legal in the United States? There is evidence that shows that abortion is wrong, and it is an act of killing another human being. My purpose is to not only proving abortion is morally incorrect, but to prove it factually and not by hitting your emotions.Abortionists believe when you become pregnant, "a blob of tissue" begins to form. They say it is not a human being. Therefore, it is not murder. However, the facts are... One by day 18 "the babies heart begins to beat." Fact two, by day forty-three brain waves can be detected, Thirdly, by six weeks, the fetus, has all the internal organs of an adult. Lastly, a baby can survive out side the womb by 20 weeks old. The bible even states in Jeremiah 1:5 " Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I s
Some people believe abortions are wrong except in the cases where, the mother was impregnated by rape, or it is known the baby will be born with disabilities. Pregnancy from rape is very rare only 1% of abortions are performed because of rape. The victims of this terrible trauma should be approached with great compassion and love. Shall we ask ourselves though, since there has already been one horrific act done, should we afflict someone else who is innocent, with the act of murder? This baby can be given up for adoption when born to save the mother from the remembrance of the child every day. What about babies born with a disability? Disabilities also only accounts for 1% of abortions. Wouldn't you be saving the baby from a terrible life? I ask you what if Helen Keller's parents had an abortion, where would the blind and deaf people be today? Albert Einstein was born with a learning disability and did not speak till he was three, Jim Abbot does not have a right arm and is one of the most revered baseball players, and Itzhak Perlman a famous concert violinist was paralyzed from the waist down. All these famous people, and more have disabilities, which they have over come. What would our world be like if their parents had and abortion, because they had disabilities? et you apart...." God states that before we were even formed, he knew us, he set us apart, and he had a plan for our lives. I ask you this, how is it that it can meet all the characterizes of being human but, yet people classify it as a "blob of tissue?" One of the other frequent questions asked about abortion is, "If it is so bad then why is it legal in America?" Let me ask you this, if abuse
